Texas is the second largest US State, with cities such as Dallas, Houston, Fort Worth and Austin. It is a center of commerce for the USA, with many big corporations having there headquarters here, and so provides many job opportunities for those looking to transfer to the USA.
It is made up of many diverse landscapes, from deserts, to grasslands, forests, mountains and coastline. There are a wide range of activities and places to explore here, including the Alamo, Texas's most historical landmark, the space center at Houston, the Six Flags theme park in San Antonio, as well as numerous state parks.
Property prices here are low, and you can get a lot for your money. Due to the size of the state, the weather varies according to the area you are in. It can become very hot and humid during the summer months, with a lot of rain, and can snow in the northern parts of the state during the winter.
