New York is the third most populated state in the US, and provides a wealth of attractions and activity for those wishing to either visit or relocate. Bordered by Canada, New York has weather much more like that of the UK, with harsh cold winters and warmer summers.
The attractions and activities here are endless, by both night and day. With the fantastic architecture, such as the Empire State building, the statue of liberty, and Central Park, as well as the state parks outside of the city - the beautiful Adirondacks, which provides opportunities for hiking, fishing and boating, and the Catskills, there is something for all in this state.
New York city is a bustling center for business and commerce, and property prices in and around the city can be very high, with many who work in the city choosing to live further out in the suburbs, and commute.
Although one may think simply of the huge city when thinking about moving to or visiting New York, there are many quieter towns outside of the main city, which provide family oriented communities, good school systems, and a more laid back way of life.
